So, I attended this Bridal Cocktail
event at Tiffany & Co at Marina Bay Sands on the 29th of
September. As you might expect from this luxury brand, the event definitely proved to be a huge success. Here are some pictures that I took of the event:

Our talented host on the right, with a party attendee! |
The event started off with treats being
passed around the room (bite-sized, unique and delicious!), and the guests were
given a chance to appreciate the brilliant jewelry Tiffany & Co had to
offer (handled carefully by the helper with black gloves J).
The presentation started shortly after, with our hosts sharing with us a short
video clip and some tidbits of knowledge about the importance and history of
the Tiffany brand name. (Really, I’d known that Tiffany & Co was a quality
brand but I’d never known the significance of the Tiffany box and it’s
products!) The presentation carried on smoothly with three beautiful models
(Ella, Kate and Dovil) posing and showing off the elegance of the jewelry
paired with different types of wedding dresses. Our host was efficient and
knowledgeable about all the products and shared with us some tips on how to
look the best at our own weddings. As the presentation was concluded, we were
free to enjoy some of the treats (all in the ceremonial color scheme - rich
Tiffany Blue) as well as to have our pictures taken at their photo booths
before mingling with the other attendees. All in all, it was a well-planned and
elegant event and was definitely a lot of fun for everybody who attended.
Now, let’s end off this short recount
with some pieces of knowledge which I had picked up throughout the event.
Firstly, I’m glad to announce that I finally know the full name of the Tiffany
& Co founder – Charles Lewis Tiffany! He founded the store which was known,
back then, as “Tiffany, Young and Ellis” along with his partner Teddy Young in
the 1830’s. The store had been known as a “stationery and fancy goods
emporium”. Yes, believe it or not, Tiffany & Co once sold a variety of
stationery. The store name was then shortened to Tiffany & Co when Tiffany
took control of the brand, and, to this day, its flagship store is still located
at the corner of Fifth Avenue and 57th Street in Manhattan, New York City.
Since then, the store has been the
location set for many internationally renowned films - a favorite of mine being
“Breakfast at Tiffany’s” starring Audrey Hepburn. Tiffany & Co is known for
it’s high standard of quality and will always signify the most elegant and
enchanting jewelry- all wrapped up in it’s trademark Tiffany Blue, specific
shade of light blue trademarked by the company itself.
So! Are you a Tiffany & Co fan, dear reader? Well, although I already had
respect for the brand before, going to this event has really made me appreciate
and understand more about the high quality of their goods. I’m really glad that
I had been given the chance to learn more and enjoy some of the treats at this
well-planned affair. It had really been a lot of fun!
Thank you for your time!
